Meet our designer: the creation process behind a Nanayé swimsuit

Behind every Nanayé swimsuit is a true creative effort, carried out hand-in-hand with our designer. From the first sketch to the final piece you wear to the beach, discover what goes on behind the scenes of this creative process.

1. The Sketch: The Starting Point for Every Collection

Everything always begins with a drawing. It is at this stage that the main lines of a design are born: the cut, the proportions, the details that will make all the difference. Our designer draws inspiration from current trends, but also and above all from the Nanayé universe: vibrant colors, cultural patterns, and silhouettes that celebrate all women.

2. Fabric Selection

Once the sketch is approved, it's time to select the materials. This choice is essential: it determines the comfort, fit, and longevity of the swimsuit. Textures, colors, elasticity... each fabric is carefully chosen to match the spirit of the imagined design.

3. The Prototype

The sketch then comes to life in the form of a prototype. This is the first physical version of the swimsuit, which allows us to check if the initial idea truly works once worn.

4. Fittings

No swimsuit is chosen without being tested. Fittings allow us to adjust the cut, support, and drape of the fabric, ensuring that the design is as beautiful as it is comfortable, on various body types.

5. Production

Once all the previous steps have been validated, the design is finally launched into production, before joining our collections and, soon, your summer wardrobe.
